You might be wondering what happened to Season 1! Well, to be honest, I’m a one person show here and my life blew up a little (a story for another time/place). Things are good now, and with the dust settling! I can finally start talking again about new releases! And just in time!
When I rebooted Winged Beast Outfitters, I really wanted to push myself. I launched with a bunch of familiar faces, but in the background I’ve been working away at leveling up what I have to offer.
I’m putting the finishing touches on everything, but they’ll be dropping this Friday, October 1!!!!!!!!
A friend suggested that maybe the colour palette of the Winged Beast is a little neutral. I thought hard about this… and maybe they were right. I could stand to brighten things up.
My background as a screen printer pushed me to make the most of as few colours as possible. This can be a blessing and a curse. The constraints present an interesting design challenge. On the other hand, it means you have to make tough choices in terms of colour and what you print on.
These days, my stuff is printed using Direct to Garment digital printing. This provides a massive amount of flexibility, especially when designing prints with multiple colours. This means I can finally put out designs that I just couldn’t print on my own. There’s no loss of quality, but I still need to test to make sure everything looks perfect, and that’s what delayed things.
It all seems worth the wait! Behold! Get them October 1st!
