The Story of Isn’t Being Alive Amazing?

First released in 2015, Isn’t Being Alive Amazing was the child of my love of drawing ghosts and a tough time for my family. It’s a little tribute to the reality that life is precious, short, and amazing… even when it’s tough as hell. It’s a thing we need a reminder about from time to time.

While making this design helped me express a loss in my own life, people’s response to it has been an inspiration. It’s a simple message that has resonated with so many in ways I never fully expected. That’s a real gift.
